Boredom, beat-cliches, mack-attitudes and a lack of imagination they just sweep aside and furbish hip-hop to high shine with their homegrown polish. Complex, refined and trippy, straightfoward and headnoddingly fat, electronically creaky and jazzily dodgy, and mostly all of the above at once are the beats with which Comfort Fit puts the listener on a trip and supports the raps of tide. The latter likes to tell sometimes thoughtful, sometimes entertaining anecdotes from a life inbetween bar, bong and buddhism and, as a side effect, proves that one doesn't have to be a gangsta to pump out some pretty hard and dynamic flows.
